The Danish Deep Subsurface Database, Samba
Databasen indeholder oplysninger om dybe boringer, udført efter tilladelse jf. undergrundsloven, samt geofysik (især seismik), licenser og rapporter. Det er efterforsknings-, estimerings-- afgrænsnings- og produktionsboringer vedr. olie/gas, geotermi, gaslagring og salt samt videnskabelige boringer. Datasættet indeholder tekniske, administrative og geologiske oplysninger fra boringerne og om geofysiske målinger i boringerne.
The database contains information on deep drilling, carried out under a permit, cf. the Subsoil Act, as well as geophysics (especially seismic), licenses and reports. These are exploration, estimation, delineation and production drillings concerning oil/gas, geothermal energy, gas storage and salt, as well as scientific drillings. The dataset contains technical, administrative and geological information from the drillings and about geophysical measurements in the drillings.

Samba databasen blev etableret i 1988 i et samarbejde mellem det daværende DGU (nu GEUS) og Energistyrelsen. Den ældste boring i databasen er fra 1936. Databasen indeholder i dag information om, og data fra, godt 2000 boringer og 1400 seismiske undersøgelser. I 2014 blev GEUS e-butik Frisbee introduceret. Firmaer fik hermed mulighed for køb og download af data fra alle frigivne vurderings- og efterforskningsboringer i Danmark. Data kan købes enten med kreditkort eller faktura. Den afsluttende rapport og deviation data fra boringerne kan hentes gratis.
I 2016 blev 3D seismiske data ligeledes gjort tilgængelige i Frisbee og indsamlingsrapporten kan hentes gratis.
The Samba database was established in 1988 as cooperation between the DGU (now GEUS) and the Danish Energy Agency. The oldest well in the database was drilled in 1936. Today the database contains approx. 2000 wells and 1400 seismic surveys.
In 2014 the GEUS web shop Frisbee was introduced, providing easy access to, and download of, the data from all released appraisal and exploration wells in Denmark. Data can be purchased by credit card or invoice. The final well report and the deviation data can be downloaded free of charge. In 2016 the 3D seismic data became available in Frisbee, and the acquisition report is available for download free of charge.
